Elizabeth está de volta. Sua visita a Kent lhe deixou lembranças desagradáveis, e ficar perto de Mr. Wickham agora se tornou insuportável. Lizzie espera pela viagem com os tios ansiosa para se livrar das lamentações da mãe e das duas irmãs mais novas, encontrando boa companhia na figura de Mr. Convington, um jovem conhecido. Desde o baile de Meryton, após sua chegada de Kent, que Mrs. Bennet reparou nas atenções dele para com sua filha, e Elizabeth tem a confirmação suas intenções quando ele pede que ela considere, pense a respeito de, se tornar sua esposa enquanto viaja com os tios. Outra pessoa para quem a visita a Kent não rendeu boas lembranças foi Mr. Darcy. Chateado, distraído, nem a companhia dos amigos e da irmã o tira de seu estado taciturno. No entanto, o encontro inesperado com Elizabeth tem o efeito inesperado, pois ela já está comprometida com Mr. Convington. Agora ele tem que decidir sobre o que deve fazer para ganhar a mulher que ama. 

Mais uma vez, Abigail Reynolds surpreende. Seu talento em preencher os “espaços vazios” nos acontecimentos de O&P (aqueles acontecimentos que ficamos ansiosas para saber, principalmente sobre o ponto de vista de Darcy da história). Adorei esse livro principalmente por apresentar um adversário para Darcy. Um enredo bem construído, uma história muito boa. Recomendo. 

Elizabeth is back. Her visit to Kent left her unpleasant memories, and stay close to Mr. Wickham has now become unbearable. With the departure of the regiment, Lydia is invited to visit Brighton, leaving Kitty furious. Lizzie hopes the trip with his uncles anxious to get rid of the lamentations of his mother and two younger sisters, finding good company in the figure of Mr. Covington, a young acquaintance. Since the Meryton ball, after her arrival in Kent, that Mrs. Bennet noticed his attentions to his daughter, and Elizabeth has confirmed his intentions when he asks her to consider, think about, to become his wife while traveling with the uncles. Another person for whom a visit to Kent did not yield good memories was Mr. Darcy. Bored, distracted, the company of friends and sister takes this from his suellen state. However, the unexpected encounter with Elizabeth has the unexpected effect because she is already committed to Mr. Covington. Now he has to decide on what to do to win the woman he loves. 

Again, Abigail Reynolds surprises. His talent to fill the "gaps" in the events of P&P (those events that we are eager to learn, especially on the point of view of Darcy's story). Loved this book primarily for presenting an opponent to Darcy. A well constructed plot, a very good story. I recommend.
